Overview
The Brain Machine is a board game construction kit for the Apple II.
Designed to let players create their own custom board games, the player can define the rules and pieces to their choosing. All games occur on a 6 x 6 grid. The player can choose to play against a human opponent, or one of three predefined computer opponents: Cerbrius, Herniak, or Maniac. The package comes with 4 starting games: Check It, Feudal War, Hunter, and jump Over. The player can define the looks of the individual pieces, the starting position of the pieces, how they move, which squares have special characteristics, and how the computer opponents react to different challenges. Board games can be saved to disk, and shared with other players.
