Frenzy

Overview

Frenzy is a multidirectional shooter arcade video game published by Stern Electronics in 1982. It is a direct sequel to Berzerk; both games were developed by Alan McNeil. Frenzy's gameplay is very similar to Berzerk—the player enters a series of maze-like rooms containing armed robots and must shoot them to survive—but adds more variety.

This is a homebrew port of Frenzy to the NES, and is a direct port of Bob DeCrescenzo's earlier 2014 homebrew port of Frenzy to the Atari 7800. According to DeCrescenzo the NES version has more colors, different speech, and in the two-player simultaneous game, the first person to leave the room ends the room.

This version of Frenzy includes a port of the arcade game Berzerk, and both Frenzy and Berzerk have added two-player modes.
