Overview
Released in August 1967, The Wiggler is a classic four-player electromechanical pinball machine manufactured by Bally Manufacturing Co.. It features a futuristic space theme, influenced by the Apollo-era space race.
Designed by Ted Zale with artwork by Jerry Kelly, it is best known for its innovative "zipper flipper" mechanism (a hallmark of Ted Zale's designs where the flippers physically move together to close the gap between them, preventing the ball from draining) and early inclusion of multiball gameplay.
Approximately 3,410 units were produced.
