Super Mario Bros. 3: 2 Players

Not all enemies in Super Mario Bros. 3 are loyal to Bowser. Say hello to dissident Betty from the neglected race of Orange Cheep Cheeps. Fed up with Bowser's disregard for her people, she decided to join the resistance. Working undercover, no enemies can hurt her, however she has not yet learned how to be a real asset to the resistance, so her powers are quite limited. If the distance between the main player (Mario or Luigi) and Betty is more than two full screen widths, both players die instantly. Since she was never taught to swim or jump on platforms, she is not featured in levels that include these elements.
