Mission: Invasion Force

An alien mother ship approaches on your screen, hovering high above the Earth. As you grab the lever of your assault vessel, the mother ship begins to fill attack raiders into the chutes, ready to rain destruction upon the planet's surface. Once the chutes are filled, raiders begin to descend, intent upon your destruction.

In Mission: Invasion Force, the player controls a small space vessel on the bottom of the screen, which can scroll left and right, while firing shots vertically. Above the player, an endless array of small vessels descend from the chutes above, and the player gains points by destroying as many vessels as possible, while a timer counts down from 250. Intermittently, larger bonus vessels will descend from the center of the screen or the peripheries. If the player comes in contact with a descending vessel, their ship is destroyed. The player has a total of 5 vessels, and when all are lost, it's game over.
