Bridge Mentor II

Bridge Mentor II is a bridge training program that provides pre-analyzed bridge hands intended to help players practice card play and improve technique through structured exercises. The software includes two sets of practice hands—QUIZ, containing 10 deals, and CHAL, containing 52 deals—allowing users to study different scenarios. The program emphasizes card play practice, using a method referred to as discovery learning to support long-term skill development.

Gameplay in Bridge Mentor II revolves around reading and playing through archived deals. Players can load deals from the archives, build new hands by manually entering cards, or generate random deals for future editing. During play, the user controls the South hand, following prompts and receiving feedback on card choices. Additional functions include editing existing deals, reviewing full hands, and creating or amending detailed data fields for each deal. The program focuses on presenting deals analyzed by human experts rather than simulating full games with random elements.
