Overview
The Genesis Project is a first-person space combat game set in the year 2143. The player commands the Genesis Probe, an advanced star cruiser tasked with a critical mission across the Gamme-Serti System. The political balance between planets is under threat after Targon-3 claims a valuable mineral, Trilithium, and enforces its claim by deploying detonation devices throughout six system zones.
The player navigates through different zones using an intergalactic map and hyperspace travel. Combat is carried out from a first-person perspective using twin Q-Class phasers to eliminate hostile ships. Asteroids can be mined for dilithium, which is refined into explosives used to destroy the planted devices. The objective is to disarm all six Cobolithium Detonation Devices scattered across the system.
