Hangdroid

Overview

Hangdroid is a word game for the BBC Micro that presents a digital version of the traditional hangman game. Players attempt to guess hidden words by selecting letters, with each incorrect guess contributing to the gradual construction of a robot figure, representing the player's remaining chances.

The game offers a selection of built-in word categories, including space, computing, and television characters. Additionally, it features an editor that allows players to create and incorporate their own custom word lists, enabling personalized challenges and extended replayability.

Originally released commercially in 1982 by Micromode, Hangdroid was later released to public domain.
