Clown, released by Spanish manufacturer Playmatic in 1971, is a rare electro-mechanical machine known for its classic circus aesthetic and unique European construction. Unlike American tables that painted directly onto wood, Playmatic often used a durable plastic sheet over the wooden playfield, which preserved the artwork much better over time.
