Adventure

Adventure is a rare, sailing-themed pinball machine manufactured by Sega Enterprises, Inc. in 1979. It was one of the last original machines produced by Sega Japan before they exited the pinball market in 1979 to focus on the booming video game industry.

While 1979 was a major year for iconic solid-state tables from companies like Williams and Bally, and Sega's pinball machines were considered well-designed and technologically advanced for the time, they struggled with post-production service and maintenance support for operators, leading many arcade centers to replace them with more profitable video games like Space Invaders. Sega did not return to the pinball market until 1994, when they acquired Data East Pinball.
