Overview
Main-Line is a simulation game about working as a railway signal operator on a three-route section of a main train line. The player must manage the flow of trains by controlling track switches to prevent collisions and derailments.
The game uses a top-down diagrammatic display with labeled track segments and switch points. Trains are shown as flashing indicators, and switches are operated using keyboard keys corresponding to track labels. The objective is to redirect trains safely through the section, with gameplay ending if a collision or derailment occurs. Accidents are shown by a flashing circle. A new train enters the section as one exits, creating a continuous traffic flow.
