Mission XP2

Mission XP2 is a text adventure game about a lone operative aboard a derelict spacecraft who must investigate the crew's fate and escape a growing threat. The player begins in the ship's airlock and explores various onboard locations including the bridge, cryogenics chamber, and captain’s cabin, uncovering clues about what happened. The story extends beyond the ship to a nearby planet as the player attempts to repair systems, interact with alien flora and fauna, and ultimately escape from a hostile encounter with space pirates.

Gameplay follows standard text adventure conventions, with the player entering typed commands to navigate, examine objects, use items, and solve puzzles. Various hazards, such as exposure to space, malfunctioning systems, and radioactive items, can result in death, while multiple objects like a laser gun, magnetic boots, and a bracelet with a dial provide key functionality. Success requires gathering necessary components, avoiding threats, and triggering the correct sequence of events to survive and complete the mission.
