Overview
Mr. Do! is a maze game about navigating underground tunnels to collect cherries while avoiding roaming enemies. The player controls a clown who digs through soil to form new paths and must gather all cherries or eliminate all enemies to complete each level.
The character can defend himself by throwing a bouncing ball that returns after a short time or by dropping large apples onto enemies from above. Enemies become more aggressive over time, adding to the strategic element of timing movements and positioning. The level ends if Mr. Do is caught or all cherries are collected.
This version is an unofficial, homebrew adaptation of the original arcade game. It was distributed as public domain software and later included in the 8-Bit Software collection "PD Games #11". The game supports only keyboard input and was designed specifically for the BBC Micro Model B.
