Overview
Omega Probe is a shooter game about piloting an unmanned spacecraft through the hazardous Omega Zones, a region from which no manned mission has ever returned. The player navigates the probe to eliminate enemy vessels and complete each zone.
The game features multidirectional scrolling, allowing the player's ship to move freely across the screen. The ship automatically advances vertically unless directed otherwise. Players must destroy all enemy ships in a zone to progress. The game begins with three lives, and an extra life is awarded upon reaching a score of 10,000 points.
Omega Probe was later distributed as a bonus game with the December 1984 issue of The Micro User magazine.
