Programmer's Revenge!

The Programmer's Revenge is a text adventure game about navigating a surreal and complex world constructed by a fictional programmer. The player explores diverse and often fantastical environments including deserts, castles, swamps, underground chambers, and even a segment set during the Big Bang. The setting incorporates both natural and constructed spaces, with elements from mythology, modern life, and absurd humor, such as partridge trees, spaghetti trees, and an ugly duchess cradling an item.

The game is played entirely through text input, with players typing commands to explore, interact with objects, and solve puzzles. Commands follow standard verb-noun patterns like "take apple" or "open door". A scoring system rewards progress, including endgame segment, the latter being unlocked with a high score. Some puzzles involve specific item use (e.g., detergent cake clearing a pond), and a troll character has a dynamic response based on player actions or items held.
