Overview
QBoyd is a platform game about jumping across a pyramid of cubes to change their colors while avoiding enemies. The game is a clone of the 1982 arcade game Qbert, closely following its gameplay and design.
The player navigates an isometric pyramid by jumping diagonally from cube to cube, aiming to change each one to a target color. Enemies traverse the pyramid and must be avoided, and spinning discs are available to help the player escape danger. QBoyd shares many similarities with another Micro Power game, Blockbuster, including nearly identical graphics and sound. Blockbuster features additional elements and may have been a later revision of QBoyd.
