The Quest For The Last Baked Bean

The Quest for the Last Baked Bean is a text adventure game about locating and recovering the final baked bean known to exist, following a global shortage that has left the world in a state of panic.

The game begins with the world facing a crisis: all baked beans have vanished, and none remain in stores or on trees. The player is visited by a mysterious old man who appears in a flash of light, announcing that one last baked bean still exists, hidden in a far-off land controlled by a giant. This bean is protected by various puzzles and traps, and the player has been chosen to retrieve it. After being transported through different realities, the player arrives in a strange environment where the search begins.

Gameplay is controlled entirely through text commands using a VERB NOUN structure. Players explore a variety of interconnected locations, solve puzzles, and interact with objects to progress through the game world. The setting includes both outdoor and underground areas, with obstacles and environmental challenges designed to impede the search. The player must find the bean and return to the entry point to complete the game.
