Pokémon Unova Red

Unova Red is a Pokémon Red ROM hack that replaces the original Gen 1 Pokédex with the full Unova Pokédex (all 156 Gen 5 Pokémon). The story and structure remain the same as classic Red, but the available Pokémon, typings, moves, and some mechanics are updated to match Gen 5 balance while still keeping a Gen-1 feel.

- All 156 Unova Pokémon are included.

- Trade/friendship evolutions are changed to level-up or item evolutions.

- Evolution levels adjusted to fit a shorter Gen 1 playthrough.

- Dark and Steel types added, with Gen 5 type matchups.

- Some moves and TMs are updated or replaced; TMs are still single-use.

- Stats and move data largely follow Gen 5, while keeping Gen-1 style limitations.

-Certain map adjustments to place Unova legendaries.

Challenge Mode patch:

- Higher trainer levels and added early-game trainers.

- Forced SET battle style.

- Healing and revive items cannot be used in battle (with limited exceptions).
