Overview
Rubik Cube is a puzzle simulation that lets the player manipulate a virtual 3×3 cube on the BBC Micro. All six faces of the cube are displayed simultaneously on-screen. The goal is to rearrange the cube’s squares to reach the solved state where each face is a uniform color. It faithfully reproduces the mechanics of a physical Rubik’s Cube, adapted to computer play.
Players enter letter-based commands to rotate faces of the cube. The interface visually updates each move in real time. There is no assistance or hint system—the solver must use their own strategy to complete the puzzle. The entire experience is text and graphics driven, presenting a faithful and uncluttered simulation of cube manipulation .
