8 Away

8 Away is a single player solitaire game played using a single standard pack of cards.

It is a timed game with high scores being achieved for early completion. The object is to build all four suits on their respective foundations starting with the Ace and working through in ascending order to the King.

Cards are built up in the game area in descending suit order with a maximum of eight cards per column.

The game has a high score table and when it was released it was possible for players to compete with other players by uploading their scores to an on-line Hall of Fame. In 2015 the site which supported this feature is no longer active.
