Pet Dog

Pet Dog, aka Chongwu Baobao is a virtual pet-raising simulator developed by Nice Code Software and published by Shenzhen Nanjing Technology. It was likely released amidst the Nintendogs craze in the 2000s. The game has the player take care of one of three dogs, which is framed as them adopting the dog in an intro sequence. The game's cartridge uses battery-backed RAM to save the player's progress, which can be loaded from the main menu.

Pet Dog would be included on multiple plug and play systems. While it functions identically to the Chinese Famicom release, it is unable to save progress on most systems it is included in.
