Overview
Galacard has arrived to the Game Boy Advance for this third installment in the series! Galacard Advance only retains some minimal features of it predecessor, Galacard Platinum, but adds two new modes - Deluxe Mode and Advance Mode - as well as a brief in-game manual.
Once again, the goal is to match the wins to the goal you chose by playing a card with the shape of the Starting Card (SC) or the Power Card (PC) with the highest possible number. The PC always has an advantage over the SC and overwrites it. In this new version of the game, the shop present in Platinum is scrapped and replaced with a new Zerowin system. You still need to pay with Zerowins to be able to choose 0 as your goal, but they can be obtained automatically by winning turns. Also, unlike previous entries in the series, Galacard Advance doesn't change the Power Card between rounds in Original Mode.
In Deluxe Mode, the Starting Card replaces the Power Card on the following turn, and, in Advance Mode, the Power Card changes constantly. In your quest to become the best Galacard player, you'll have to travel across Planet Ack's diverse landscapes: the breezy mountains of Palmount, the vast desert of Dersoon and the inactive volcano of Canored.
