Overview
TNT 2: Devilution is a 32-level megawad for Doom II. It is a vanilla-compatible, unofficial sequel to Team TNT's TNT: Evilution.
The WAD was infamous for its long and troubled development cycle, to the point that it became a running joke in the community. This reputation continued even after MAP26 from the WAD won the Mordeth award, with it being the only map remaining unfinished.
The development issues spawned projects like TNT: Revilution, Interception, and the upcoming TNT: Forever, which were all made from either rejected maps from Devilution or people leaving the project and making spinoffs, or both.
The first public beta was finally released on March 29, 2022, with the sixth beta version, the last before the full release, following on May 11, 2023.
TNT 2: Devilution was named one of the winners at the 2023 Cacowards.
