Dave Infuriators

Overview

Dave Infuriators is a platform puzzle game released by BlackJet in 2011, designed for the SAM Coupé. Developed by Andrew Gillen with graphics and music by Jaco van der Walt, this game challenges players to navigate through a series of levels as Dave, a character stuck in perpetual motion. The unique gameplay revolves around guiding Dave through various obstacles while avoiding the Grim Reaper, who increases the level timer.

The story begins with Dave waking up from a dream, finding himself trapped in a world where he cannot stop moving. Players must help Dave escape through eight levels, each filled with blocks that affect his movement in different ways, such as reversing direction, speeding up, or jumping higher. The game requires quick thinking and strategic navigation to complete levels efficiently and unlock new ones.

In addition to the main gameplay, "Dave Infuriators" offers a level editor mode. Players can create and edit levels, adding a personal touch to the game. This feature allows for extensive customization and replayability, as users can design their own challenges and share them with others.
