Overview
One of the most difficult games for 8-bit computers, combining arcade and adventure elements. The player takes on the role of a pink creature trapped in the Egyptian temple of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II. The sole objective of the game is to escape from this inhospitable place full of hostile creatures and traps. The temple has 45 rooms of varying difficulty. Overcoming the traps requires incredible precision, measured in fractions of a second. Depending on the situation, the player's character can perform a low or high jump, which is important when avoiding certain obstacles. During the journey, the player will encounter distinctive stone slabs, doors and statues, which require a previously found key in the form of hieroglyphic symbols to move them. Some rooms have two staircases leading down, one of which is a deadly trap in the form of sharp spikes. Considering that the player's character starts at the entrance to the room after losing a life, falling into the spike trap means the permanent end of the game.
