Carcassonne (2002)

Overview

Carcassonne: Ritter, Räuber, Ränkeschmiede is the PC version of the eponymous board game. The basic principle is simple: There are 72 cards which show parts of a medieval landscape, e.g. streets or castles. Every player gets the same amount of cards and puts one of them on the game board every turn. A player gets points if he finishes a building or a part of a road. He also has minions which he can put into finished buildings. The game ends when all cards are played and the highest score wins.

The game's new features are AI opponents with adjustable personalities, online multiplayer features including a high score list, a replay feature and slightly different rule variants. It also includes a rare card set for the board game.
