Crossword Addict

Crossword Addict is a collection of four hundred and eighty-six crossword puzzles. The puzzles can be printed and completed in the traditional way with pen and paper, or they can be completed on screen. If using the on-screen method then part completed puzzles can be saved and resumed later.

The game area consists of two main windows. One shows the crossword and the other the current clue with icons to other game features such as print, view the full clue list, save game, pause game, access the memo pad etc. The answer to the current clue is entered in the appropriate box on the right. The player then selects the 'enter answer' button and if the answer is correct it is entered into the main puzzle, if it is not correct the player is given an error message. Only one clue is shown at a time but if required the player can open up the full clue list in a separate window.

The default setting is for a singe player game but up to four players can take part, however there is no option to customise player names or icons. Games can optionally be timed and/or scored.
