Overview
Star Clones is a series of four 1 - 4 player Star Wars-themed mini-games. All games are controlled via the Apple Paddles.
The player can either do a mission, where they attempt to beat all 4 mini-games in order, or the player can focus on practicing a single mini-game.
In Clone Trooper Onslaught, the player controls a small turret on the bottom center of the screen, while a number of clone troopers attempt to march past the player. The player must shoot all of the clones before they march off the bottom of the screen, or the game is lost.
In Attack of the Metal Monsters, the player controls a small craft that continuously flies from the right of the screen, while a large metal 4-legged robot approaches from the right. The player must attempt to swoop in and shoot the poorly protected view-port without striking the metal attacker or getting shot down.
In Desert Scout Daredevil, the player must carefully control the speed of their landspeeder to attempt to jump a chasm of angry robots, and land on the down ramp on the other side. The gap becomes longer with each successful jump.
In Assault on Star Clone City, the player most moves vertically up and down on the left of the screen, while avoiding asteroids and enemy vessels which approach rapidly from the right. If they survive long enough, they have the chance to engage Star Clone City.
