Anchorman

Overview

Anchorman is a 1–2 player bowling game for the Apple II.

A ten pin or shorter duck pins game, the player bowls by choosing the location of their bowl and the spin. An animated character moves across the screen, where their speed controls the strength of ball release. An animation from the view of the bowler shows the pin position and ball movement.

The player can choose spare time, splits, wash, match game, or anchorman. The program tracks records over multiple games. Allows for play against two human opponents or a computer opponent with five levels of difficulty.
