Overview
Échecs 3D is a Windows 9x chess program from the famous German chess programmer Stefan Meyer-Kahlen (of Shredder fame), that first started to win the World Micro Computer Chess Champion in Jakarta (1996).
Échecs 3D offers 5 levels of difficulty and is highly configurable. The game also includes a library of 1.000.000 chess plays to show off the skills of famous chess players and masters. These plays are stored in both CBF (Chess Base) or PGN (Portable Game Notation) formats.
