Overview
William Tell is a platform shooter for the Commodore 64. It was developed by David W. Light where your aim is to rescue the apple of his eye, his son.
The first stage of the game involves the collection of two keys which unlock the doors to the dungeons. Both keys are lo be found hanging up outside the guardroom* located at either end of the battlements. The battlements are patrolled by armed guards who can either be shot with your crossbow or jumped over if your timing's good. Occasionally you must replenish your supply of crossbow bolts by jumping up and collecting them. Timing your jump is vital because arrows and cannonballs are whittling overhead. Once you've got the keys, fight your way back to the ladder m\d then you can descend to the courtyard.
