Intergalactic Games

Overview

Intergalactic Games is a puzzle game about a television network attempting to secure exclusive coverage of the First Intergalactic Games by launching a communications satellite into the correct orbit.

The player acts as the network’s launch engineer and inputs parameters such as launch angle and initial speed. The program simulates the rocket’s flight and reports whether the satellite achieves the required orbital height, allowing repeated attempts based on the feedback. Interaction is via simple text prompts and numeric entry.

The game was published as a type-in game in a book "Computer Spacegames".
