Overview
Released in 1980 by the Brunswick Manufacturing Company, Circus is a solid-state pinball machine designed specifically for the home market, rather than commercial arcade use. It is part of a small series of home pinball games produced by the renowned bowling and billiards company between 1976 and 1980, often branded under the name Briarwood.
This machine features a circus theme with artwork by Dick White. The playfield includes two flippers, a single pop bumper, a slingshot, five standup targets, and a spinning target. It was released in two variations: a yellow cabinet single-player model and a red cabinet four-player model.
