High Seas

Overview

High Seas is a classic electromechanical pinball machine manufactured by D. Gottlieb & Co. in November 1976. It was designed by Ed Krynski with artwork by Gordon Morison, and had a production run of just 382 units.

It belongs to a triplet of pirate-themed games released by Gottlieb sharing the exact same mechanical layout but utilizing different play rules and production names: Buccaneer (the standard replay version), Ship Ahoy (the add-a-ball version), and High Seas (the rarer alternative add-a-ball variant intended for specific regional markets).
