Overview
You are piloting a hovercraft equipped with a special magnetic generator, and your goal is to push a metal sphere—rolling across the playing field—into your opponent's goal by utilizing the magnetic force emitted by your craft. The craft is equipped with eight thrusters, each activated by moving the joystick in the desired direction. Thanks to the air cushion, friction is virtually non-existent; consequently, any thrust generated either increases or decreases the craft's speed, whereas the speed remains constant when no thrusters are engaged. To come to a stop, you must fire the thrusters opposite to your direction of movement. The craft changes direction upon contact with the field boundaries or the opponent's craft. The ball cannot be physically struck, as it rolls along the floor while the craft hovers on an air cushion just above the surface. To deflect the ball, you manipulate the craft's magnetic field: the magnetic force repels the ball or attracts it (depending on the polarity setting), thereby altering its trajectory. The force acting on the ball is governed by the laws of physics.
