Overview
Death Square is a strategy game for two players and is played on a square board with 8 squares per side. At the beginning the blue and red pieces fill the board entirely except for the 16 central squares. This last area is called Death Square.
At the start of each game, players take turns moving their pieces into the Death Square. The person who manages to remove all of their opponent's pieces from the Death Square by jumping over them wins.
Of course, multiple jumps are allowed as in the game of Checkers. To load the program, simply double click on the icon. After loading, the chessboard with the Death Square highlighted is displayed. Players make their moves with the mouse. Pressing the Escape key exits the game.
The red player always moves first. The color of the mouse pointer indicates the game turn.
