After his latest adventure in Sarasaland, Mario comes home to find his island in chaos—his old childhood rival Wario has cast a mysterious spell over the land, and the 6 Golden Coins needed to unlock his own castle have been scattered far and wide.
However, there is more to this story than meets the eye!
Step into the boots of Wario, not as a mustache-twirling villain... but as a ruthless conqueror with a get-rich scheme and something to prove. Backed by the enigmatic Tatanga and an army of oddball misfits, Wario sets sail for Mario Land, ready to claim the throne - but things don’t go as planned.
After a surprise ambush leaves him stranded on the island, Wario must conquer all six zones, crush the last remnants of Mario’s influence-led by the loyal yet suspicious steward Mushwell-and snatch every last coin and treasure in sight while he's at it!
Time is ticking, as the events unfolding in Sarasaland threaten to spiral out of control. And then there’s this mysterious cursed bell... a relic that may alter fate itself?!
