Clash

Clash is a 1 - 2 player arcade game for the TRS-80.

The player controls a knight with lance atop a large dragon. Gameplay allows for 1-player or 2-player cooperative. The player can move rapidly left and right, but can also flap their dragon's wings to raise up in the air. Numerous enemies appear, and the player must destroy them by jumping on top. If they run into an enemy from the side, they are thrown from their mount. If thrown from their mount, the player must quickly attempt to recapture their dragon before hitting another enemy and perishing. There are a variety of enemies, including: vultures, cave spiders, and dark bats. The player must avoid landing on spikes, and can pick up gems for bonus points. The player gains an extra mount at 5000 and multiples of 10,000 points. There are 4 levels of difficulty.
