Stronghold

Stronghold is a 1 - 2 player arcade game for the TRS-80.

There are 4 cities, one in each corner of the screen. Surrounding each city is a large barrier, which protects the inhabitants within. The player controls a paddle which can move on the two inner sides of each city, and can be used to deflect bouncing balls away from the inhabitants within. At the beginning of each game, a helicopter drops 2 balls off in the center of the level which begin to bounce about. The player's goal is to destroy their enemy cities by deflecting the ball towards their enemy, while protecting their own citizens. If the city is struck, the player is lost. The last player standing is victorious.
