Night Flight

Overview

Night Flight is a flight simulator for multiple systems.

This program simulates the flight characteristics of the propeller-driven aircraft of World War II. The player must undertake dangerous photo-recon missions as the player guides their plane through the murky night sky, learning to take off, fly, and land relying only on instrument reading.

The player's position is shown from a 1st person perspective, but all gameplay occurs in 10 second intervals, where the player must manually select throttle, stick, and tilt settings to help guide their aircraft. The player's goal is to avoid enemy radar, and reach the location of an enemy installation to photograph the facility, land safely, and bring the photos back to command.
