Turtles

Turtles places the player in control of a small turtle navigating a glowing labyrinth while rescuing baby turtles hidden beneath mysterious boxes. Enemy beetles roam the maze, and only quick movement and clever use of bombs can keep the rescuer alive long enough to deliver the babies to safety.

Players move their turtle one step at a time using the left joystick to navigate corridors, revealing what’s hidden beneath each “?” box. Some conceal baby turtles who cling to the player’s shell, while others release enemy beetles that immediately begin pursuit.

The goal is to transport all rescued turtles to the home nests located around the maze without being caught. Pressing the right-hand orange button drops a bomb, stunning nearby enemies for a moment—an essential tactic in later stages.
