Overview
Sea Ray is an electromechanical pinball machine released by Bally Manufacturing Co. in September 1971. Designed by Ted Zale with distinctive "pointy people" pop-art by Christian Marche, the game features a water sports and spear-fishing theme. 1,300 units were produced.
Unlike many EM pins where bonuses are collected at the end of a ball, Sea Ray requires you to collect your accumulated bonus during active play by hitting specific targets like the top saucer or side chutes.
A 4-player version titled Mariner was released shortly after, featuring nearly identical gameplay but a more bluish color scheme.
