Donkey Kong (Artonapilos)

Overview

This game is for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer and is based on the arcade game Donkey Kong (ドンキーコング) from 1981, designed and published by Nintendo (任天堂) and programmed by Ikegami Tsushinki (池上通信機). This version is freeware made for fun as a programming challenge, and as an exercise in how to solve the well-known colour limitations of ZX Spectrum. It is a tribute to the creators of Donkey Kong and a demonstration that anyone can make nice-looking and well-playable games, even for old cheap home computers that weren't designed for games.
