Acey Duecy

Overview

A strategy game for two players in which you must move all your pieces to the other side. The game is similar to Backgammon, but has slightly different rules. In each turn, the player rolls two dice and can move one or two pieces, always forward. If the player rolls two identical numbers, e.g. 5 and 5, they receive a double move and can move any 4 pieces 5 spaces. If they roll 2 and 1, the player makes a normal move and chooses any two double numbers, gaining 4 moves and an additional turn to play. An opponent's piece can be captured if it is alone on a rectangular square. If there is more than one opponent's piece on the square, it is not possible to move to that square. A captured piece is always placed first after the turn begins.
