Super Tank Attack

Super Tank Attack is a prototype 3D vehicle combat game developed by MicroProse for arcade where the player pilots a futuristic battle tank through open arenas filled with enemy vehicles, missile turrets, and destructible structures.

The game is presented in a first-person cockpit view, displaying radar, damage indicators, and ammunition readouts. Using a joystick and throttle setup, the player moves the tank across the battlefield, locking on and firing at enemy armor units. Each arena contains multiple opposing tanks and obstacles such as towers and fuel tanks that can be destroyed for extra points.

The goal is to eliminate as many enemies as possible before the arena timer expires. Power-ups and secondary weapons, such as guided missiles or high-powered shells, increase firepower but are limited in supply. Two players can participate simultaneously in linked arenas or split-screen setups, competing for score or survival.
