Brian Lara's Cricket

Overview

On Monday 18th April, 1994 Brian Lara broke a cricketing record that had stood since 1958, long before Lara himself was born.

Lara's 375 for West Indies against England is the highest individual score ever recorded in a test match, beating Sir garfield Sobers' 365. In more than 12 hours at the crease he faced 536 balls and hit 45 boundaries.

Just weeks later, Lara was in record-breaking form once again, hitting 501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham, the highest score in first class cricket!
