All Things It Devours

Hi, it's Unfolding once more, and this hack is not really like any of my other hacks. It's still a short-and-sweet hack, but I wanted to try to make something a lot darker and more horror-coded than anything I've made in the past. This was a collaboration with the extremely talented (and patient) romhacker cbt, who flawlessly executed my wild ideas - anything technically impressive in this hack is their work, while I handled the story and puzzles. We made this for the Eevee Expo Game Jam 10, with the theme of Rebirth.

Features:

A complex narrative, told from five different perspectives

A grim exploration of immortality, with lovely little bits of body horror sprinkled in

No jumpscares, don't worry - the horror lurks in implications and descriptions

A complex, overarching puzzle to solve

Lots of dialogue variety, and characters that develop and decompose in front of your eyes

A lot of fancy tech under the hood that makes the premise and gameplay unique!
