Vicvader

Vicvader is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

The player controls a small ship at the bottom of the screen that moves laterally and fires forwards. The goal is to earn points by shooting aliens before they reach the bottom of the screen. The aliens march back and forth, and each time they reach the edge of the screen they will drop one row closer to the bottom. Aliens intermittently return fire. Shoot them all to move to the next harder level. If any aliens reach the bottom of the screen it's game over. A flying saucer intermittently moves across the top of the screen for bonus points. Three shields offer protection from alien fire, but also block the player's shots. The player begins with 3 cannons.
