Overview
Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. 2 OverBoost is an update to the arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. 2 XBoost, announced at the 2022 Premium Dogfight and was released on June 28, 2023. On February 8, 2025, the game's successor, Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. 2 Infinite Boost was announced during the Premium Dogfight 2025.
The amount of bursts has been reduced with both Mobility and Raging being removed for Vertical Burst, which allows the player to perform a Boost Dive like in Gundam Versus. Additionally, activating burst individually will also provide a small buff to the player's partner. Players will now be able to customize their Vs. Screen panels such as changing a unit's alternate CG art. A mute function for a partner's in-game messages and a direct rematch function were also added. A 1v1 training mode has been added.
The game would also introduce recolors of certain units such as RX-78-3 G-3 Gundam colors for the Gundam, and Zeheart's custom colors for the Gundam Legilis.
