Overview
Tam-Tam is an electro-mechanical pinball machine released in 1975 by the Spanish manufacturer Playmatic. The machine features a South Pacific theme, specifically inspired by the culture of Vanuatu. The backglass depicts a figure dressed for a Toka festival, a major cultural dance event held every few years on Tanna Island in Vanuatu. The name "Tam-Tam" refers to a traditional wood slit drum used in Vanuatu and surrounding islands for ceremonial purposes.
